Some of the biggest names in sports were featured in this 1963 issue of SPORT Magazine.  Mickey Mantle is the cover subject with a story inside about his life on the road with the New York Yankees.  Muhammad Ali (still called Cassius Clay by sports writers at this time) and the challenges facing him before he became champ.  Brooks Robinson is the subject of The Sport Special (see scan of contents page).

Sport was launched in September 1946 by New York-based publisher Macfadden Publications.  It pioneered the generous use of color photography.  A monthly magazine Sport was published continually August 2000.

Condition- Complete and very good.  There is slight fraying of the spine with wear on the cover and a couple of ink marks on Mantle's chest.
